I'm curious too..... Gonna check out Big Rocks Rd. in a couple of weeks of you want to meet up. Don't know anything about the trail so it should be an adventure. Let me know if you're interested. It's off highway 166 near Cuyama.

I can only think of Rowher Flats being above Valencia, Magic Mountain area. Got a real good climb from the Bouquet Reservoir, off Bouquet Canyon Rd.
They closed up Arnold Road (beach) and the River Bottom years ago, so there is nothing that I no of in that area anymore. Leaved up in Ventura for years.
