Default Aussie Jeepers Easter 2011

Every Easter at Coffs Harbour on the northern coast of NSW Australia, Jeep Action magazine host what is known as Camp Coffs. It is a great weekend with all types of Jeeps attending. A mini jamboree if you like. This is a video of one of the hill climbs. There are 2 JKs I think on this video but good footage and all Jeeps. Check out the mag also. Comes out monthly and is a good read. Available on line. The editor drives a JK.

Awesome. Love the view from inside the JK. That is an intense run.

I had the extreme pleasure of enjoying your country just recently. I just wish I had more time. After a stay in Sydney, a friend of ours and resident Aussie drove my girlfriend and I up the coast. We rolled through Coff's Harbour.

I enjoyed seeing what vehicles you are driving. I only spotted about 5 JK's the entire time.

Yours is a diesel? From the factory? Of after modification.

I'm going to check out your online mag.

Cheers!

G'day there, I am glad you liked the video. You must have driven up the coast on a JK free day. There are quite a lot of JKs around my area these days. I am about 4 hours drive north of Coffs, 30ks south of Brisbane Qld. If you can believe the press here, Australia is now the biggest Wrangler market outside of the US. We have both the petrol V6 and the diesel variants. The diesel is best in auto as there is a problem with the clutch in the manual version. The turbo pipe is also weak and most are replaced under warranty. We can only buy the Rubicon in petrol.

I think you will like the magazine. It usually has stories on old Jeeps, trips around OZ and repair or accessory articles. I am glad you enjoyed your stay here. I think most Aussie Jeepers would be happy to show any of our fellow US Jeepers around our areas. Especially members of this forum. I would like to get over to the US sometime in the next few years. Take care, stay safe,
