Best places to wheel on the east coast
If thinking of going to Uwharrie on a Sunday I could possibly swing the trip along with you. Never been. Looking to get my lift and tires within the next week or so hopefully. Really depends on if I can get all of it in on time and decide to install myself or pay labor from 4wheelparts.
Did someone say Uwharrie? I am always down for a trip and Sundays are great for me. Let me know if you want another JK in the group.
Install party would be a great way to get that lift installed and save yourself some money!

X2 in the install party Im sure people will help with the lift install. Which kit are you getting?
The only thing about URE is check the weather before you go if it's going to be raining I strongly advise not going. Opening day this year it rained all the way until we got on the trails we sat at 1 relatively easy spot for 2 hours on Rocky Mountain Loop because no one could get traction to go up a little hill. The only vehicles that made it unassisted had atleast 1 locker and a heavy right foot.

The only trail I recommend to stay away from if your a first timer is the front side of Daniel. On a trail map it's the side farthest from the other trails besides that there is bypasses around every difficult spot. Just this year I have brought 3 new to wheeling people up Daniel after first doing the other trails and giving them a ride up in my jeep. Once they are confident enough it's not to hard to get them to the top. May require some straps if your not locked but it's possible. Just make sure you trust your spotter and are confident because them reaching out to grab your jeep as it sits on 3 wheels will make you shit your pants or so I'm told.
If you want someone to go with you let me know I can usually swing it. If you went to the Raliegh topless day I was the guy in the red JKU on the rock pile.
