Default Bishop, CA June 2009

Took a trip down to Bishop, CA last week to do some rock climbing and camping. I saw the pictures that wayoflife posted from his trip to Reward Mine and I wanted to see it too. Took me a bit of searching, but found it finally. Also met up with forum member artpics for a few days. He was kind enough to show us the local spots, and an awesome mountain road that climbs to 11,000 feet up this mountain range. I shot close to 6 hours of video, and will be posting some of that soon.

Without further ado, here's some pictures!

Thanks! I saw the pictures you put up and I had to check it out! Totally worth it, it was pretty cool to see. I strapped a video camera to my front bumper and rolled on the whole drive in/out, so once I get that digitized and edited I'll put it up. It was a cool view.

I love that last picture too!! It's already my desktop picture. I'm afraid I can't take credit for some of those last ones though, they were taken by my buddy.. he has a much nicer camera and a better eye than I do. colebenoitphoto(dot)com is where you can see more of his work!

We made it back safely, and thanks again for your hospitality
Your pictures look great! We have some bouldering photos coming too, but Cole is still tweaking them. Working on the video this weekend.

I imagine we'll be back again next year, and when we are I'll be sure to let you know! If you're ever up north, give me a call.
