Default Cerro Gordo/ Inyo Mine

Anyone been to Cerro Gordo recently? I've heard some info about problems on the road from CG to Saline Valley. Also interested in knowing if the road from Inyo Mine through Schwab to Nevada is open.

Don't have current info, but going east out of Cerro Gordo towards Saline has always been rough.
The main road to Cerro Gordo from the west is always in good shape so just from a time perspective, it's probably faster/easier to go back down that way and take Hwy 190 to the Saline road.

I did Echo Canyon out to Nevada a year ago without problem (with only 1 difficult fall to climb) and enjoyed that trip greatly.

Lots of roads in Death Valley were damaged and closed due to the recent storms, so things may have changed. But the Morning Report indicates Echo Canyon is open

Looks like most of the Death Valley roads are closed due to washouts with storms this weekend. We're trying to see if things open up when we leave on our trip on Monday
