The Compound Offroad park
Well, me and a few friends went to the opening day of The Compound offroad park. they thought maybe 15 or so vehicles would show up, turned out to be probaly close to 80. Trail map was crude and trail markers where missing, which meant groups of vehicles going wrong way, then trying to get turned around was not pretty. Everything also just turned to mud and vehicles where stuck on most of the trails from what i heard, so did not try anymore after first trail.
It was fun overall and got way more muddy than I wanted to:( Had fun in it but hated the 2 hrs, in 40 degree weather to clean. Spent most of the day in one field watching most get stuck, including myself and how others where trying to get them out. The pictures of the field before it got real bad. There where only a few spots you could park without sinking into the mud. I heard even the Bulldozer got stuck trying to get a 2wd Dodge pickup out.
I staff at the park, spent the whole day with the bulldozer and bobcat trying to keep the trails open, because most where blocked from stuck 4x4's.
Given time to dry out and better markers and map, should be fun! Will be going back since it is only 45 min. drive for me.

I not sure what is all there? My group went the wrong way on one trail that was not marked, went through some tight turns through the woods, rolled down about 2.5' boulder. The guys behind a stock JK, said he hit his drive shaft and other stuff coming off the rock. We then dropped into a creek and out the other side, where my friend in his lifted Ford ranger on 35's broke his rear bumper, when the rear dropped into the creek. We then met another group coming the other way so had to get turned around and take another trail out.
We started to head back in and got to the field in the pics I posted and it started backing up there because everyone was saying the main one way trail was blocked with stuck 4x4's and a couple of other trails also. So, we just hung in the field watching everyone get stuck there.
Two well built crawling rigs started a trail following the creek. That about all i can tell you and good thing it only cost $5 to get in. I did hear one hill was so slick, you would just slide down with no control. Heard a guy in a Dodge did this and hit a tree.
Even just trying to get out of the field and up the trail that was not deep mud at all, had you sliding around like you where on ice.
I had a short video in the field on my phone, but can not get it send to my email to try and post.
