Cool Corbett Trail riding (and water fording) 1/14/12

Made a trip up to Corbett in West palm with a TJ and another JK. Weather was nice and crisp. A bit cloudy but no rain. Water lever was down a good bit so we were able to go places normally inaccessible. First part of the day was myself and a lift TJ on 35's. We did some tame trails and some water fording but nothing crazy. The 2nd half of the day was myself and Bob going through some narrow and deep water trails. It ended with my rig getting quite stuck in a narrow trail. It did allow me to use my winch for the first time. Engo 12000 worked like a champ!

Enjoy! (edit the 2nd half of the day pics of higher quality were taken by bob)

And now part 2 of the day. I sat for a bit. Relaxed. Dried off. Then met up with Bob and his wife.

Had a really great time. As you saw I really live right behind the place so any time you want to go just give me a few hours heads up (prefer a day if possible )

lol i'll let you think that. Been there 5 times now. Pretty much first time on each trail. Got a pretty good feel for it though. I am a bit slow and steady when going through the trails. Not to much head first like in your vids

Yea we tend to get a little crazy an muddy. At least I do. But with those stock tires I'm surprised you make it through what to do! But I'm down for slow and steady. Let us know when you headed out again

Yup the stock tires are in no way good but they hold their own well enough for now. Plan is 3" lift then tires. But my toy fund is slow to replenish and after the bumper/winch, it will take some time.

Great pics!!!

Now you know first hand why I always reccomend a winch as a first mod. Makes for nice peace of mind!!
