Nice pics! Looks like alot of fun. I can't wait until I get that "first time wheeling with a new lift" like your friend. BTW, I don't feel sorry for you at all trying to warm up around that fire, it must have been what, 40F or something (coming from the Tundra we had all negative F this weekend).

The simplest directions(rough directions) to the place is this:

From South Dallas, take 67 South, roughly ---------- 50-60miles

Exit, Cleburne Business 67 South, --------------------- 4-5 miles

Left on (at the courthouse)HighWay 174 South, ----------------------------- 16-17 miles

Left on (Blum)FM933, -----------------------------------------------5-6 miles

Keep your eyes open for a dirt road that goes left, turn on to the dirt road. A marker for the dirt road is an old CutLas convertable painted yellow with green flames(yes a yellow cutlas with green flames). Once on the dirt road, you will go roughly about 200-300 yrds and keep your eyes on the left and once you see a break in the trees that is it! Follow the trails down to the river bed.

You can always contact me if you need a guide! pm me if you ever need a guide! There are other places in this area to wheel as well!

Here is what the Blum'anians(locals) told me. The rocks are owned by the Blum ISD and the entry way is owned by a construction company. That no one minds people going back there as long as you leave nothing and dont vandalize the place(graffiti, or beat on the rocks). Let me know when you go, and I will try to make it down there!

Oh, and I am sure you already know. Water fording is illegal now. Although it is very easy to access the water from there, it is illegal to go into the river.
