Default Denver Area Trails

Hello all
Ive been looking at trail damage for so places to get in the dirt while theres some snow on the ground however I am having some trouble because not all of the trails give a season as to when they are open. Some say year round but most don't say anything. if anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sam

I'm looking to get the JK out soon. Did you ever find anything that's open?

Trail damage is the best site for denver trails. Typically if they don't say year round, then they are not. Look at where the trail is, if in the mountains then doubt you can wheeling it before June. On dry years snow melts early, but this year I think there will still be lots of snow in early June.

Went out this weekend (3/5 & 3/6) off Old Stage Road near Colorado Springs. The trails off old stage all have snow in parts, some of it a foot+ deep. If you go out be sure to have front and rear lockers, a winch, and a friend.
I slid off a one part of the trail and had 2 good pulls to get back on my way, good fun though!

Been checking weekly on the spring creek trail just past Idaho springs. One of my favorites. Tons of rocks, lots of different lines, and only 45 minutes away.

Looking like it will be completely passable by next month. Still some snow up high but it could probably be ran without issue today. The weather has been so warm lately, their is not too much white stuff until it gets to be 9k or above. From my scouting anyhow.

Another good way to tell is once boreas is opened. If it's rolling both ways pretty much everything will be ready to go.
