The Jeep performed flawlessly. The 4 low crawled up deep rut hills and it was like a walk in the park. Just hit the gas and go. THe thing is I did not use the lockers at all today. I wish I had a chance to but I never got stuck in mud, hills, the lake or anything. I pulled out the red toyota from a deep mud rut.
There were two guy there that thought the 4 door rubicon was a 2 wheel drive! They had no Jeep knowledge. THey thought it was all for looks. I was shocked. I showed them how the hard top came of in 3 pieces. I showed them the locker and sway bar disco switches, I showed them the 4 to 1 transfer case from a 1 ton truck, I showed them all the room and they couldnt believe it was a wrangler. We then hit the trail and showed them what this thing could do. Needless to say they were amazed. These two guys were in a yj with 35's and It was pretty nice. I just cant believe they thought my Unlimited RUbicon was a two wheel drive... It was like they thought it was a minivan
Throughout the trip though they kept telling me how much respect they had for the new Jeeps. It felt good to be the one to school them.
Jeep operating goodies. I must say I love the way this thing runs and operates.
ESP switch.
In two wheel drive HI I hit the switch and I was able to spin mud high into the air. I noticed when I had the switch in the normal position for on road driving the Jeep bogged down and I was unable to spin. It then bogged the engine down to nothing. Totally sucked. I hit the stock ESP switch and the light came on the dash. I then punched the gas and watched the mud fly. All in two wheel drive!
Sway bar switch.
IN 4 wheel hi or low this baby was awesome. As soon as we hit the ascending hills with funky ruts and erosion this was a life saver. It was like driving the Jeep on the street. The jeep just drove over everything and never missed a beat.
Locker switches.
Never needed to use them, never got stuck. Kind of upset.
I really miss colorado.
4 Wheel HI
Never needed it in the mud. In the water it was sure footed and I was in love. Again ESP off the thing could spin mud everywhere!
4 Wheel Low
Crawled up inclines with deep ruts like a Mountain goat wearing cleats. It wasnt even challenging. As I hit the power windows to hear what they were yelling one guy says, "I hope you roll your pretty little Jeep" (laughing due to the power windows). Man I love this thing.

Trail Damage, this calls for a need to move or skid plate this thing. I was able to re attach it with stock plactic clips but this definately needs attention.
Woods? Kilby?
Anyway, mods should come with a reason and I now have a reason for relocating the evap canister.

Woods should add that one to his website.
