the fishing/ beach is good right now in Corpus Christi haha gotta love south tx weather

 

I try to go down 4-5 times a year to port aransas. We usually camp out with 1 night in a hotel to clean up etc.

There were a lot of blackfin shark the last time i was out there "last sept i think". Is that typical for that time of year or is it year 'round?

I'd like for to learn to crab fish. I saw a guy with chicken in a pantyhose and net catching crab left and right just off the big bridge on the way in.

 

i think i remember hearing about a large number of sharks in the port a area, i think they were blaming it on the oil spill that happened a while ago, and crabbing is fun the pantyhose tangles up the claws so the crabs can't just let go, used to use the same technique when i would fish for alligator gar

Man, nothing is better than Northwest Florida beaches! I definitely miss being there.

 

im another guy stuck in central, illinois.. champaign to be exact.. and its cold.. and theres snow on the ground.. but not enough to even be fun in the jeep. and no sand or water in sight. so lame...

 

I'm stuck in Newport news, VA and still have not found a trail. Wish I had my JK while I was stationed in fort hood, their were trails EVERYWHERE on post!

 

I look out my window and see snow all over the ground...and vehicles...and trees... Jeebus, I wish I was where you are. There's more snow falling from the sky right now!
