I clean my dash with a garden water hose. One day water got in behind my steering wheel and made my horn not stop blowing for a few days. Just pop the plug to horn under hood and plug it back in later.

To the OP, welcome to the club. What's amazing is how fast the jeep dries out and even with a carpet kit, there really isn't a "funk" because the fresh air blows in and freshens things up! I figure it's just part of owning a JEEP.

I must confess I did have flip flops kaki shorts and tank top on despite being called out for after hours work and yes the expressions on people's faces were priceless! I actually didn't get that wet with only the softop flopped over me but as others mentioned when you stop is when it blows in on ya so keep rollin!

No damage inside to dash area either just puddles in front of seats and my cargo mat was nearly full LOL!

Glad I found this. I didn't know what to do. My jk woke up the neighborhood.
