Default First JK Trail Ride, Tellico Lower 2

I took the JK to Tellico today to try it out and it did great. We ran Lower 2 and trails 4 and 5. This is the first time I have ever wheeled the JK and the first time I have ever wheeled something with coil springs. I was used to driving a 1 Ton YJ on 42's . Lower 2 was probably not the best first trail to run but we did it anyway. It was a now or never situation because it's being closed on January 1st. It was muddy and slick. The only hiccup was the Lockers not working. The rear one wouldn't lock at all and the front one did after I rewired it. I'll investigate it next week to diagnose the problem. The JK is going to take some getting used to but I think I'm going to like it.

The KM2's also worked great! They got good traction and cleaned out well.

Anyway, I just thought I would share how my trip went.

I was at tellico for a Werock comp last year, its too bad its closing, I would have liked to wheel there.

That looks really slippery.

It was a lot of fun. It's too bad they are shutting it down. It's an awesome trail.

very nice! Ill be up at Tellico on the 29th with GA Trail Riders. We have a few other Jks in the club. I been there before back in the summer but from what ive heard/seen in pictures they have graded off alot of the trails making them alot easier. Itll be sad to see it closed for 3 months and lord knows how long before the trails are all opened completely again
