Freakin grueling. We left at 4pm from New Orleans. My wife and I switched off, and drove straight through. 26 hours later we arrived at our cabin, feeling like zombies. We were there for a week. It was worth it! The worst part is driving across Texas. From Dallas to the New Mexico border there is NOTHING. It was hard to stay awake. We also brought our two pugs with us. They love it up there, too.
