Cool trail! Did you need the lockers to get through it?

If you listen to the video, you can hear him talking about locking the differentials.

Neat video, looks like a fun time had by all. But as was pointed out, please don't break the cardinal rule of wheeling alone. Would hate to hear about such a nice family getting stranded...

When I got hung up (high centered ) on the rocks one time I locked it up...if I had slightly larger tires I could have walked it without lockers... But to answer the question, yes I used lockers one time.

Absolutly!! The jeep rubicon is amazing right out of the box!! What amazed me most was how after wheeling in 4-low with the sway bar disconnected all I had to do at the trail head was flip a button and slide the 4wd lever and off I went up to 75MPH on the interstate as smooth as butter...the JK rides like a cadilac on the road and performes AMAZINGLY off road.

My TJ on the other hand does AWESOME off road but requires me to get out, disconnect the sway bar (using hammer!) and then the ride home is quite rough and unplesant with a family!

I have thought about selling my TJ and using the money (TJ is paid for) to fix up the 4dr JK and buy myself a 2dr JK for going to and from work... Yes, I like the JK THAT much!

AGREED!! I really did break the cardinal rule of wheeling...good news is I was close to home and had several people a phone call away that could rescue me.

I do not recommend this to anyone...I did feel pretty comfortable the whole time as the trail was very mild and I got out and walked it before wheeling (still no excuse)....and I was in a RUBICON!

Cool video. Would have liked to have seen some outside footage of that rocky climb.

ok...here is my version of the video (it has a lot of the same footage, but it's arranged different. there are a few extra things in there too)

I don't have any video from outside, on the rock climb....I'll remember that for next time, as this was my first time with the new camcorder. I still have some learning to do with it.
