Default First PISMO trip in the 2012!!!

So here are a few pictures from last weekend at Pismo. I've gone there for years, but first time taking the 2012 JKU. Kinda missed the low end power of my lifted 5.2 ZJ, but the JKU did fantastic.

My buddy brought out his YJ. Pretty cool Jeep, but his lacked power in comparison to mine

This was camp. Who needs tents when you can sleep on soft sand!!

Good lookin jeep bro, those atx wheels look really good on that color. How do the Toyo's perform on the sand? I got a set on my JKU but havent had a chance to run them through their paces on sand yet.

Hey sorry for the late response. They actually did pretty well considering they are in a narrow size. Plus they are 10 ply, so they tend not to flex much when aired down. So with both that in mind, I was impressed. I can't say they did as well as the Duratrax I used to have, but the Duratracs are a pretty soft tire that does very well when aired down. I only got stuck once, but that was my own fault (stopped on the face of a dune because I thought it was a drop off on the other side)

Thanks for the compliment buddy. I'm very happy with the ATX wheels. The teflon coating is awesome and never seem to get dirty or scratched.
