Cool pic's and video. What say someone set a date and start a thread and see who from the area we can get there? Make it an official JK-Forum event. I'd be up for that! Spring break is coming up real quick, BTW (Mar 15-23). Jack, you're our area leader.

Actually, that would be armycop - the Mid-West area leader I'm simply a peon that wayoflife has somehow convinced to do his evil doings (read: sorcery).

Yeah it's kinda a spot unlike many others and right in the middle of nowhere. Reminds me a lot of Great Sand Dunes Nat'l monument in southern Colorado. If you haven't been there, it's another great sand spot to check out.

Armycop: Quit your complaining and organize us an event!

Great Sand Dunes National Park (upgraded from a monument): Much bigger dunes, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains (and no wheeling on those dunes, but fun to hike and slide back down):

its crazy there are a lot of rock mesas up there and otherwise flat oklahoma terrain then BAM a bunch of sand dunes stuck out there

The 7 dollar entry fee to this park pays for all maintainance and personnel for every other state park in oklahoma.
