Talking The funniest "city" recovery ever on St-Paul street in Old Montreal :-)

My first post, I really had not intended to post so soon as I would've liked to lurk a little longer and continue to soak in the jk-forum culture ... but this is the kind of story that we can all be proud of. 2007/12/16, Montreal, Quebec, Canada ... we never get this much snow so early on, but a monster storm has just dumped 40cm (15") on us and the city is a warzone Having said that, we are all used to storms during the winter and the city is up and running after 24 hours. Most people with SUVs are crashing snowbanks everywhere. However, at the present, in this total disaster, some funny things can happen I ended up towing a cop car !

On my way to pick up my brother, a police car had gotten half stuck in a snowbank and could not pull themselves out. They were actually there to close the street as too many cars had gotten stuck. With their permission I flattened the snowbank on the opposite side of the street and passed them with 2 wheels on the sidewalk. I then backed up casually, strapped them in, and towed them 3 blocks ;-)

The sad thing is ... no pictures ! It was about 17:45 on St-Paul street just East of St-Laurent ... just in case someone else posts a hilarious picture of a Jeep Green JK Rubicon Unlimited towing a cop car in Montreal
