Default Hawkins Mountain Trail (4W304), Alpine Lakes - Cle Elum, WA

We (my wife, dog and I) went to Hawkins Mountain Trail (4W304) which starts at the end of Fortune Creek Trail (4W301). The trail tops out over 6,000 ft. Just like the last time, we didn't see anyone on the trail. Enjoyed the solitude.

Here's some photos. Enjoy!

damn... is all the land out west so pleasant to look at? what the hell happened over here on the east cost...?

Those are some nice pictures.

kind'a interesting that over here there is a trail called "Hawkins Hollow" where you start at the top of a mountain and work your way down into the valley...

I always look forward to your posts. I sure miss the mountains up there. We call them mountains down here, but they're really hills.
