As I stated in another post, this trail really made me anxious.
Yes it is that steep! Tim at the top,...

Me,... Dropping in,...

BullsJK,... Going down,...

And there's only one way out, and IT'S UP!

An amazing trail that will keep you awake after having run it, wondering "what if?,..."
Pictures DO NOT do it justice. Thanks to Mowabb for being our resident expert spotter. Great time with great people.

Whilst you're there make sure you don't miss the overlook over the Highway and Colorado river, it's a most amazing vista!

You could have done a lot of the slick rock trails, but Hell's Revenge, which gets you into Hell's Gate, has some pretty high and steep obstacles, many of which did not appear to have bypasses (we didn't really look for them, anyway). I also used my lockers a fair amount because I didn't want to start sliding off the narrow trails.
But if you went with a guide who knows the trails well, it would certainly be much more comfortable for you to try it out.
I hope you make it out there someday soon. It's amazingly beautiful and fun.

stock on hells revenge... you bet... in our group a stock 4 door jk.... and an old yj- no lift 30" tires looks like a mail jeep... it did all of hells revenge except hot tub and tipover (both have bypasses) didn't do escalator- it's doable- but if you slip into the wedgee- sheetmetal damage..... hells gate is an offshoot from the trail.

where is hellls gate? i have been on hells revenge 3 times (twice on ATV's and 1 time in my JK) and havent found it yet.
