HolyCross Trail CO
Recent day trip up to HolyCross City. HC is the site of a 1880s silver mining town. At one time the town had a little over 2000 miners. This is a Colorado favorite and only 15 minutes from my house. The trail now rates a 9 out of COs 1-10 scale due to the stream crossing that is littered with volksvagen size rocks. This summer the trail has really deteriated in a good way. JP
Hi Mark, I remember you. That was Pritchert canyon. Garbs blew a front ring and pinion on Suicide hill. And we towed him through the rest with two trucks and straps. Fun times. JP
