how many of you wheel alone
I have wheeled alone a lot but I do rather easy trails so not much risk of issues. I would prefer to ride with others as it's more fun and you can do a little more knowing the others have got your back.
If by alone the OP means just me, never.
Done it before and learned my lesson years ago. Seems most of the time we have to go out and rescue someone in our local wheeling spots here the individual was wheeling alone (single vehicle)
Most responses on this site don't domit on another site that's not a jeep snipe most say do it explore but take precautions. So I guess that people here are doing technical trails hard rock gardens etc. and on the other site probably more easier but no less remote
Does that makes sense?

If I ever have the urge to wheel alone (no co-pilot), on top of that with just a single vehicle out in the middle of B.F.E., all I have to do is think of 2 movies...
Sorry but I don't feel like drinking my own piss if I can avoid it....

We go alone a lot. When we do we only do level 4 out of 10 trails which are really just rough fire roads. We also have a SPOT to keep people informed of our progress and status. The SPOT has an option for a personal message where we tell people we are OFF THE TRAIL. This ends our SPOT notifications for that run.
As others have stated, I'll go alone sometimes without another vehicle or a copilot but I stay away from mud holes or obstacles that I couldn't recover myself on. I like the not-knowing of being alone, it's kind of a thrill. Also, I have a SPOT I can use if something really bad happens. OP, if you do go alone, make sure you have a winch, all of the proper gear, and a shovel! Make sure you know how to use all of it too. Remember Murphy's Law.
