Yes, at the end you go left onto max patch road. 6 miles or so later you will reach the trail. Did it last weekend. Met some nice folks from Tenn up there. Would be nice to get a group together.

I ran this section in Feb in the snow. Great spot. It was not very technical but a great ride. Max patch is a nice bonus and I would also recommend hitting buzzards roost on the other side if 40 down at the Harmon Dens exit. Incredible overlook. Just don't get too close to the edge of the cliff. I would be up for running Hurricane creek again if anyone wants to go in early June? I live here in Asheville too. We need to get an Asheville group started and anyone in WNC / Tenn could join.

Default Hurricane Creek

My Husband and I are coming to Asheville on July 25th and we are wanting to do some wheelin'. I am originally from asheville, but havent been to any trails. We would like to get more people to go with us that know the trails if possible. Anyone up for it? We just cant do extreme considering we are driving the JKU up from Wilmington NC, doing some wheelin, and then driving back to Wilmington. Or if no one can join, any ideas on trails?

I'd be up for it. I'm from the Asheville area and recently moved back here. I'm not sure about trails though, the places I used to go as a kid are private property now :/
