jckid's Death Valley Trip
My husband and I just returned from Death Valley. We took my JK and our T@B trailer. We spent the first night in Panimint Springs. We traveled the road to Darwin, hiking into Darwin Falls and stopping at China Garden Spring along the way. Our second night we stayed in Stovepipe Wells. We hiked Mosaic Canyon and the Sand Dunes. The next two nights were spent in Furnace Creek. We visited Zabriski Point and traveled up Echo Canyon to the Eye of the Needle. We saw maybe 10 JK's in Death Valley, and talked to two owners, but neither were on the jk-forum.
I've been to Death Valley many times, but this was my husband's first trip. He wasn't to excited about going there, but now that he's experienced a little of what the area has to offer, he can't wait to go back. We're already thinking about the places we will go to next time. Here are a few pictures from out trip:
