The JK is putting a whuppin' on Moab!
Hey all-
I'm too freaking tired to upload photos and post much of an epistle here, but to keep my family back home apprised of what I'm up to, I devote a few minutes every night back at the motel to updating my blog. Check it out. Hopefully you'll enjoy some of the photos and anecdotes about the week enjoyable.

Thanks a lot 'ceptor.
Don't laugh, but it's a point and shoot, a Canon SD1100 IS. It's an 8MP unit, there are better pocket cameras out there now, but it's still in the upper realm of what you can drop in a pair of cargo shorts!

Many thanks fellas. You all need to get to Moab someday, it is a true mecca for Jeepers IMO.
I just got home last night, so I had four days and five nights in out there. I would say it's the trip of a lifetime, but I'm now committed to making the trip once a year, it's that good, that much worth the vacation time, drive, gas and lodging.
It's hard for me to put the list of trails we did in any sort of "favorites" order, but if pressed to rate them, this is what my personal list would look like:
HuskerRubi, what part of town do you live in? I'm Northwest. That's the color I really wanted when I bought my JK.

- Hell's Revenge (thrilling; like Six Flags without the safety measures)
- Potato Salad Hill* (truth be told, I maybe shouldn't have done this one)
- Moab Rim (super challenging, intimidating, technical, gorgeous trail)
- Cliff Hanger (crazy-hard first obstacle; great rock crawling and views)
- Poison Spider Mesa (fun all around trail, but easier than I expected)
- Metal Masher (hard to navigate; two impossible obstacles; fun rocks)

There are a whole lot more where that came from drummer. Check out the ROCK HOPPER blog...
