Default jk'ers from quebec, i need some advice

i was talking to a friend and he was discussing an overland trip to the trans taiga road in northern quebec via radisson then to chisasibi then back to radisson then to caniapiscau. has anyone had experience with the trans taiga road? is it a blast? any opinions? any advice would be great.

I took the trans Taiga back in the winter of 2008 when I was Caribou hunting at Le mirage Outfitter camp. It's a remote 650km road from Radison to Caniapiscau.

Here's the link for everything you need to know

Was it a good time or was it pretty intense? Neither of us are very serious campers, we go a few times a year, would we be in over our heads?

can't really say it was a good time, driving 650 km on icy road, no salt truck up there. Not much to see, maybe summer would be better but I heard that the mosquitos are quite hungry!!
