I see Huell Howser in my office building all the time. They edit his shows here. He's incredibly nice and his knowledge about pretty much everything is extraordinary.

 

no way, that is so awesome!! i've been watching his shows since they first started to air and many of the places we've visited in california were inspired by them.

 

Very cool! Were you carrying any extra fuel? How far out is that from 'civilization'?

 

we were not carrying any extra fuel but, depending on how far you were going and in which direction, more would have been nice. civilization was near by everywhere but, more in the form of small towns with maybe a market but no gas. it's a great area and one that i hope to explore more someday soon
