Default july 21 rausch creek trip cut tires

Had a good time until one of my friends noticed my front passenger tire going flat. Right where the big mud pit is. Get out and see that besides the now flat tire, 2 other tires have cuts in the sidewall and all the rims have chunks of aluminum missing.

:(

So gonna life it up, replace with bigger tires.

Rausch was the first place I wheeled after getting my new 35s and rims. I didn't kill the tires, but I did scrape all of the rims, and knock a 1" chunk out of one of them. Was still fun as hell!

I doubt it was from going through the mud. The mud pit was wear my friends noticed my tires. On the south property there were a lot of rocks that we went over. I know a few times that the jeep slid off so I'm guessing I slid into them or as I was coming down caught some the wrong way.

:(

Gonna get the goodyear MTRs

yeah, tell me about it. I wanted to do something inexpensive for my bachelor party to keep costs down for my groomsmen.

I don't think I should have taken my air pressure down to 20 psi. Last time out I kept it at 35 and I had no issues. I fell like I had to gun it more to get up and over things, and when I did that, I'd then overshoot where I was wanting to go. ???

Are you sure your air gauge is correct? You shouldn't have had any problems running rubi tires at 20 psi. I've run greens and blues at Rausch on stock sahara tires at 15 psi and didn't have any issues. Sure, I scraped up the wheels, but nothing like that.
