This is why I am moving out West this Fall. I drive out there every year... this time I am staying (and playing) for awhile. EJS in Moab wont have to be a "big" plan from Maine.

Cool pics! Ran Box Canyon a few years back up to (and a little past) the cabins. It was in August, so it was a night run. Good times and a good test for my stock TJ (at the time).

X2, I can't get enough, so we are planning to move after school is completed (probably two years). Been driving my Jeep out to Colorado (and other four corners states) for the last seven years and it is awesome!

Just got back from making this run. It was great. We stopped short of the bypass and walked in from there. Several of the guys went down the main mine shaft to the point that it was flooded with water. Overall, a great day although it got up to 104 today.

There were a few people stopped at the Boulder Field the day we ran it. Seems to be the point at which most people turn around. The mine and mill is just up the hill so it makes for a good spot to stop. The scenery is awesome. Here's a picture of a relatively recent cave-in near the turn-around. You'll probably recognize it. The road used to go under where I'm standing!

Yep, just saw that about 6 hours ago. Just didn't have the #$@% to try the boulder field (maybe next time). The overhangs made for a nice shade spot on a hot day.
