It is a great place to 4x4. My son (Curtis) and I have to return--we want to drive the full 100-miles of the White Rim trail through Canyonlands NP. That bottom image doesn't show it very well, but the descent is at least a couple thousand feet on a narrow road down winding back and forth along that cliff face in the background. It was pretty white knuckle most of the way! Awesome place, definitely worth another visit!

There is so much to do there besides the 4x4 stuff also. We did a rafting trip through Cataract Canyon for 4 days and a conyoneering trip where we got to do 2 100+ foot repels. Was a very memorable trip.

We have just over 10K miles on the JK, most of it on this trip. My son, Curtis, has pointed out to me that he has more miles driving my JK than me. In fact, he did most of the off-road driving while I looked for photo ops (I'm huge into amateur photography of wilderness scenes).

Send the first pic into Jeep and they might pay you and publish it. It looks like something out of their commercials.

Default More Moab Images

Now that I'm back in OKC, here are a few more images from our time in Moab. These are all along the Gemini Bridges Trail.

Hmm. I paid for the Jeep, but why is it that he always gets to drive it?
