that is what is under the plastic.

I cut off the cans. hacked the ends off to make it stubby....and welded in plates where the big "holes" are.

 

I've put close to 3,000 miles on them and there is some wear. Not much....but very slight wear. They seem to wear much better than my Maxxis tires. The Maxxis rubber is even softer. I am really impressed with the off road performance of the Pit Bulls.

 

Moab looks like soooo much fun. I will make it out there some day.
