Mudding is fun the first time until you have to clean the jeep afterwards. I will go through mud if I have to to stay on a particular trail but I would rather climb and go over rocks and take my chances there. Although I did take out my steering stabilizer this weekend at hardrock and bent the bracket but it was time for a relocation set up anyway.

The best part about that is driving around and the looks you get from people.

However, in a lot of areas around here....being covered with mud is the norm. It actually cleans off pretty easily. And for reference, Black mud cleans easily....the other colors usually stain plastic and are hard to clean.

I never go muddin. I prefer to only go through mud on trails when neccessary. Big mud holes seem to get mud and create noise where you can never get to. I love me some crawlin rocks, trail rides and hill climbs.

I love the mud, however, it is a royal pain to clean. It never really comes out of eveything. It has been over a year since I ran Yankee Lake and I still have mud fall out of hidden spots everytime I use an impact to rotate my tires.

Gimme rocks!

I had to move from Colorado back to my home state of Ohio 6 months ago...and there's almost no point in owning a Jeep now. After enjoying CO, Moab, and the miles upon miles of trails, Ohio just isn't any fun.

Agreed, I have never had to replace a front housing from mudding, But rock Crawling cost me a pretty penny. Looking on the positive side, I now have a PR44.

I get no enjoyment from mud whatsoever.

Give me a nice trail with big rocks and steep climbs that gets me to a nice lake away from it all and have a beer or twelve
