Cool My first stuck...

Well it finally happened, Saturday afternoon was at a friends house and we went to pick up some pizza and wings for everyone. Well, on the way back he was kind of egging me on to go on this trail along a river. In the beginning it was a nice and easy trail with little puddles here and there. Unfortunately, the trail started closing in on us and the mud started getting thicker. So of course we see a opening and decide to continue forward to turn around at this opening and that's when the mud started flying.

Instead of deciding between the two trails that kinda forked, I decided I would try and ride the berms. That is until the Jeep decided (or my lack of skills) it didn't like taking the easy route and just slid down. I thought for sure it was tipping on its side but when it settled everything was safe. I climbed out the passenger side to assess the situation and decided instead of just trying to hit the gas and hope that I don't dig myself deeper or worst...roll it. I hooked up the winch to a dead tree along the river. I really thought the tree was going to get pulled out before the Jeep. I put the Jeep in 4LO and 2nd gear and began using the winch to pull me out. It truly was a thing of beauty, and I was inside...Would have loved to see it from the outside. Instead I get my buddies crappy cell phone pics (sorry 'bout my plumbers crack)

Needless to say the wife wasn't as enthusiastic as we were when we got to his house. So today IK spent a better part of the day trying to clean the Jeep both inside and out, unfortunately I think its gonna take me some time to get rid of all this mud LoL

Anyway here are the pics:
