Default My First Water Crossing

Went to the open ride this weekend at Scrubgrass OHV with some friends and did my first water crossing.

Man that looks fun. You may want to think about extending your breather tubes. Easily done mod, and very necessary for deeper water crossings. Welcome to the forum.

X2 on this.... I went with river raider breather extention kit.... Simple half hour install.....

A snorkel is not a bad idea also two couples I was wheeling with hydro-locked there motor. Neither of them got a do over. My snorkel went on this spring.

You can extend your own breathers for cheaper with some 5/16" fuel line from the auto store. On to depth......I've routinely run my stock 2dr (non-rubi) through 40" of water- halfway or so up the headlight, so seeing water up to your door jamb is fine. IIRC the Rubi can handle 30" of water (chrysler claims), minimum of 19" though for it to be "trail rated"
