Default My first wheeling experience

took the advice of some of the members here. took my stock sport out to see what it could do. WOW! amazing. I could not believe the stuff we made it up. My wife went with me as my son was out of town with his GF and her family. She is hooked. Asked me if we could trade in her SUV and get her a jeep. (COOL!)

scratched up my wheels, the stock skid plated look like two rhinos were having sex on them. But it was well worth it.

Only one obstacle I could not make it up. Just not enough clearance. everything else I made it. Sure helps when you have an experienced Jeeper telling you how to pick lines and run the Jeep. I found the manual trans a challenge but at the same time I enjoyed it.

made it up a 3 diamond . Failed at a 4. that is the second pic with the rock step. Had a great spotter just kept high centering. so I had to back down which was the most sketchy thing I did all day. Jeep people are the coolest.

I love drag cars and muscle cars and met a lot of good folk at the track but Jeep folk are even cooler! No egos no macho BS just good family fun.

People are always amazed at what stock jeeps can get through. I know I was!

Like your girl, my girl wants a Jeep of her own as well. Can't wait to help her get one.

If you don't mind making a trip to Pittsburgh area some friends and I have two weekends planned of nothing but wheeling. This weekend Saturday and Sunday at one off road park. Next weekend on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at another park. Gonna have a blast.
