So today i took my week old (554km) 2012 Rubicon out for a spin in the rain. First off this is my first jeep. So yes i am a Newbie. Anyhow took it on this road which seemed simple enough but well into it i got stuck in the mud. I was on 4 high. Not knowing what to do my heart was beating out of my chest. I could just imagine my wife's face when she would hear my 40K new jeep is stuck in the mud somewhere. Anyhow i remembered i had the Axle Lock. I was able to get myself out of a mess. But man i thought i was having a heart attack. My local jeep club has a 101 next weekend. Will attend i think.

 

nuthin like gettin stuck in the middle of nowhere , by yourself , to bring on chest pain lol .even worse when you have a small child with you ...... and no winch ...... and no cell phone .....kinda brings ones inner macguyver out lol

 

get a shovel to leave in the back...

and buy a camera so you can show your Jeep off.... even when you get stuck in mud and all other fun things the come with Jeepin..
