nj trail
You always have the Pine Barrens (Wharton State Park) which offers a variety of trails but if this is your first time wheelin', I suggest you go with a buddy who has some experience, and most importantly, make sure you have recovery equipment (Tow hooks, Tow Strap, perhaps a shovel, a winch, etc). Nothing worse than gettin stuck, especially by yourself with nothing to help. The Pine Barrens are legal, you can look them up online.
Just remember, don't wheel alone, have recovery equipment, and don't go at night.

I didiin't want to lift it until warranty was over, so i was thinking to change OEM fender flares to the flat bushwackers and maybe changing out the highway tires that came stock. Wanted to put 33s duratracks
Good thinking on the lift, but if you DO want a little lift, you can get some inexpensive coil spacers for the time being and that won't do anything to the warranty. That's what I did, but I now am waiting to have my AEV 3.5'' SC lift installed. Why not cut your fenders yourself like I did? Unless you just like those particular fenders? That'll save you a nice chunk of change and you can get other things. Are you more-so looking for cosmetic mods?

I had to remove some posts from this thread because they were referring to a possible illegal wheeling area. Please take a look at this copy of the FAQ that refers to this:

In an effort to encourage responsible land and trail use, Project-JK.com will no longer allow photographs of Jeeps or other off-road vehicles to be posted here if they are shown to be clearly off-trail and/or glorifying their capabilities at the expense of the surrounding environment or landscape. Photographs of this nature and/or even comments describing such harmful activities in a positive light will be edited or deleted accordingly. If you see any photographs and/or comments describing inappropriate or questionable activities on land that you know to be protected or off limits to motorized vehicles, we'd be grateful if you could please let us know by clicking on the "Report Post" link (looks like an "!" mark) on the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Photographs taken on privately owned land will be subject to review and may be deleted at the discretion of the Administrator and without any prior notice.
If you are new to Jeeps and/or the sport of off-roading and would like to know how you can help keep our trails looking great and open for all to enjoy, here are two simple rules you can follow that can and do make a world of difference:
1. Stay on the trail at all times and deviate from it only when absolutely necessary (i.e. unforeseen obstacle(s) that prevents safe passage). Driving off trail can cause severe terrain erosion, wildlife habitat/plant life destruction and the spoiling of pristine landscape features that many of us hope to enjoy.
2. Pack it in, pack it out, pickup whatever else you can and pack it out too. While most Jeepers are great about hauling out their own trash, one of the things that you can do that really helps to make a big difference is to make a conscious effort to collect trash left behind by others and haul it out along with yours. Essentially, leave the lands that you just used in better shape than when you got to it.

Posts will also be edited and/or photos removed if they are in regards to drinking on the trail or the use of illegal substances. This kind of behavior is not something that JK-Forum.com condones or advocates and we will not allow posts of this nature it to exist on the forum.

You can easiliy fit 33's without rubbing or spacers, it's just the backspacing you need to worry about on your stock wheels and in that case, you would need spacers. Keep in mind, DO NOT GO FOR CHEAP SPACERS! Go with the best. Don't ever go with cheap when it comes to the steering, drivetrain, etc. Common sense. 33's very very very rarely, actually probably never measure to a true 33'' tire, so you arent really adding much more height from the tire, it's just the more aggressive tread pattern that most are after. If you don't have any aftermarket bumpers or winches or any added weight in front or back, you won't have to worry about rake. That only happens when you have a winch or heavy rear bumper & tire carrier, so no body lift or coil spacers should be needed.
