Anyone know of any North Texas/South Oklahoma trails? Other than the Paris mud bog, I'm not familiar with any...?

K-Trail in SE OK. Runs from Clayton to near Mena, AR.

Will also work with many GPS devices, as well as Backcountry Navigator Pro on Android hardware (my preferred offroad mapping device).

Canadian River in Amarillo has some extensive trails as long as it isn't flooded.

If it's anything like here in Oklahoma, do be careful of the quicksand. Don't go by yourself, and be prepared with recovery options!

I go by this place on my way to hunt. Seems pretty cool...but I haven't committed to scratches and dings on my new 2013 yet!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm a newbie and haven't don't many mods yet (definitely nothing as far as suspension/gears, etc. yet so looking for some basic trails to take the new jeep out on. There are a couple places between McKinney, Plano and Frisco but they're pretty small and get boring so looking for more of a scenic or like a day trip (instead of a 20 minute trail)... Haha. Getting bored with what the Dallas metroplex has to offer.

I hear ya. I like to go places. Had my fill of playgrounds about the fourth or fifth grade, so just not interested in that aspect of offroading. Find some friends and plan a trip on the K-Trail (see videos linked above). You can spend a day on it, or drag it out to a couple nights on the trail. Beautiful scenery (please remember this is Oklahoma I'm writing about). I can pass plenty of planning information to you, including the map data files that are usable in Google Earth and most GPSs. Just PM me.
