Just got back from a 6-day trip to the Colorado Springs area. Saw lots of sweet Jeeps up there, all makes and models. Most Jeepers were quick to throw a wave to us, a few had there nose to the grindstone. Saw lots of beautiful scenery, lots of neat little town, had a kick-ass rafting trip in Canon City, and stayed in a pretty cool cabin. We cooked lots of great food, and drank a good bit of adult beverages! The JK did great, not one hickup, and got a few compliments along the way. Really want to move up there sometime in the next few years, hope an opening with my company opens up!! If I passed any of you guys, good to see ya, wish I'd had time to meet up and do some trail rides, but maybe next time!

 

 

Canon city area is very cool. Glad you had a good time. I just got back from the caverns and had a great time.

 

Nice! I'm going back for like my 8th time in July, can't wait. Also laying the groundwork to move out there when school is done.

 

Sorry havent downloaded pics yet. Been too busy catching up with work. Saw tons of wildlife, got some pics of elk, deer, buffalo, birds, and antelope. Pikes peak is a gorgeous backdrop in the morning. Got some pics of us rafting also. I will load them this weekend, maybe tomorrow.

 

Glad you found some fun, must have been here less than 3 days though, gets real boring after that. My first job was at the Caverns. I'll make a trip there in a few with my daughter, but that will be enough for me. Plus this is kinda Red Raider land, and I assume you're more of an Okie team guy........
