Yep I agree, and I like it. The price is good for what you get. And yes you can mount anything you want to it using bolt on brakets if you don't want to weld. Also like the fact that it doesn't weigh a ton. I don't need 800lb bumpers on a DD.

As far as these trails go, they are easy. There are very few obsticles you need to even remotely worry about. There are plenty of shelfs to crawl up and you can go around most of them. You could easily do it in a stock JK with some descent tires. Although a little more ground clearance (couple inches of lift/tires) is better. Most of the trails/mountain passes are sharp rocks. I saw several rigs with flat stock tires. As long as you have some descent tires, you should have no problems. I don't have a winch and I didn't even take my hilift jack with me.
I did the Alpine Loop, Black Bear Pass, Imogene, etc.
These trails aren't very difficult which is probably why the FJ Cruisers have their big ride there. The scenery was incredible.
I saw several newer model stock 4-runners running the trails. Also there were tons of dirt bikes, ATV's/side by sides.
All you really need to do is disconect the front sway bars and air down to about 15psi. This will make a lot more enjoyable ride because the trails are nothing but rocks and it is bumpy as hell. Have fun

Bridal Veil Falls. It's a historic house with a generator inside that provides 1/4 of the electricity to Telluride. I think I read its the 2nd oldest running one in the U.S.
