Thumbs up Pickle and Mash Potato Trails - Moab 2012

Vince ("modestoperandi"), Andrew ("AGJK") and I got a very cool opportunity to head out with some expert Moab local wheelers to some trails that aren't on the usual guidebook: Pickle and Mash Potato trails. They are rated at about an 8, based on the numerous obstacles that you encounter. We had a great time and it was cool to have Andrew and his son along for the day. Here's a video of the day's highlights:

We came across the part you see around 4:00 while wheeling in Moab last year. Basically just a tight, giant ledge you have to crawl up. I remember standing above it, shaking my head and thinking, "you'd have to be one crazy emmer effer to try that."

Awesome video. Awesome wheeling.

Each time I see Vince in a video, I know this is gonna be good. I'm amazed at the places his 2-door has been. Still remembering the Little Sluice video. The most extreme obstacles possible in a 2-door. And some viewed as impossible. And each time ... he pulls it off. Granted with a strap here and there. But hey ... that's wheeling. Hats off to you Vince! Show everybody what a 2-door can do!
