Project-JK Clawhammer Run
So I got a call from gonegoannas on Tuesday night saying that he had the day off on Wednesday and wanted to know if we might be free to go wheeling. Fortunately for us, we didn't have too much going on and so, we enthusiastically agreed and met up with him the next morning to do a quick run up one of the easier Hammer trails - Clawhammer (only a 4 rating). Being that this run was so spur of the moment and meant more to just get out and have some fun than anything, we didn't take nearly as many pics as we normally do but, here are a few that we did take...
At the start of Clawhammer...

Just past the first set of boulders...

WOLette climbing up a fun ledge...

gonegoannas working the rocks in his JK with 3" EVO lift and 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers...

Almost to the top...

At the top!! Of course, there are tough off shoots from here but, with the sun going down, we decide to take in the view and head back down to the dry lake bed...

Airing up at the end of a good day and getting ready to go back home...

We did take some video too and I think WOLette will try to put something together soon.

Okay, here are a couple of pics of the rock that bit into gonegoannas' door/rocker...

On the 2nd pic, you can see the point of the rock and the mark it made on the base of the passenger side door and rocker panel.
