Awesome pics OffTopic!! Death Valley sure is a beautiful place.

I get the mysterious single chime every other time I wheel (I'm in an auto). I'm so used to it now I just brush it off with a smile.... as far as climbing steep grades go, I know I had to switch to 4-lo when climbing up to higher elevation in the Sierras. There is definitely a point where the auto just won't go anymore and you need to force it into a lower gear range. Of course, I've gotten used to that, too....

Love the pictures from the Left Coast as always. WOL did you swith to 4" springs to run those 37" meats or are you still running the 3".

Thanks and keep posting these pictures, so that I can keep begging all of my friends to take a road trip(a long one).

Yeah, Full Traction set me up with components to make my 3" Ultimate Lift into a 4" kit to get the Walker Evans and Toyo tires installed. I still need new taller rear bump stop extensions though as I am seeing a little rubbing back there at a flex.

I politely told him that we had just stopped for a minute and would be on our way and I started heading back toward the rest of the group to let them know the proprietor wanted money . Everyone went back to the jeeps, and I'm not really sure what happened after that, but apparently the guy decided to hunt us down. He raced over to us in his truck and started screaming at us to get off his land (what happened to the charm he was pouring on to me a few minutes ago?). The guys thought he was about to take a shotgun out of his truck, and there was some debate about having a standoff or getting out of dodge . Someone else is going to have to fill in the blanks on this story because I missed the entire second half somehow. All I know is that the Wild West is alive and well.
So glad to hear everyone had a great time and thank you for the pix Offtopic... Soooooooooooooooooooo, what happened with old guy in the Dodge?

Your welcome, it was my pleasure. For TB I think it's a "Joyzee thing"

Your pictures are great, what a difference a good camera and a person who knows how to use it makes!!
