I knew you guys couldn't resist a little snow bashing. 
Look forward to seeing some video of Brainchild and the big Hemi throttling through the drifts.
Looks like another epic adventure! No feeling like waking up to a fresh blanket of snow outside your tent ... especially with somebody next to you in the sleeping bag
. Nice choice on campsite by the way. A very scenic lake in the mountains.

thanks tracie, we missed you on this one but, i know you were up in the mountains having a good time too 
yeah, it was crazy for sure. last year was like this too but most years it's really nice up there by now.

Personally I had a great trip, even including the weather... it made it more interesting for sure. I got to test out the new tent in the snow (worked great), not to mention the chain saw to fuel the massive fires, and somehow it really tends to hammer home how hard life was in a place like Bodie when you're standing in the graveyard on a hill overlooking town in sub-freezing temps with wind and snow whipping across your face.
Sadly the few pics that I have are pretty awful... funny how I tend to slack off on picture duty when I know Andrew (the pro) is on it...
Another few weeks here and we should be good for some more high Sierra adventures... looking forward to it

Just noticed how appropriate the weather responded to your "Winter Finale" by dumping more snow! This has been one crazy year...first time in a long time I could remember getting rain Memorial Weekend down in San Diego.
and a buddy of mine was in Reno, NV for a tournament and they got snow there too!

That looks like an awesome trip! I love all of the exploring, camping in the snow and running from snow storms! Awesome adventure!
I can't wait to upgrade my jeep enough to tag along! My stockie would for sure hold up the group

Great pictures, and captions.. The ghost town looked really neat also, Hard to believe there was like a population of 10000 in that other picture and now just a stone is all that remains. What was the stamp building for stamping stone or... ?
