After having breakfast at the Pancake Haus, toad and bullfrog went off to hook up with papabear for the day while SDMF, WOLette and I went off to run Steel Bender. Here are some of the pics SDMF and I took on the trail today....
At the Steel Bender trailhead...
Making our way into the canyon...
SDMF flexing a bit before the trail really got started...
Me after climbing up the first big ledge...
SDMF ready for lift-off....
Did I mention there are a ton of ledges that you can climb...
Some of the rock slabs make the trail feel like it's paved with concrete...
This is definitely one for the JK in beautiful places...
Climbing up one of the steeper rock faces on the trail...
Here's a few of shots of us driving on top of a fin...
Getting ready to drop off the most nerve racking ledges on the trail and only because there is a steep drop off on the passenger side upon landing...
Making my way off after getting myself to breath again...
SDMF ready to take the plunge...
Mission control - the eagle has landed...
On our way out with snow starting to come down heavy...
Towards the end of the trail and thank goodness for it too as the snow was starting to make it difficult to find/follow...
We have a TON of video footage that WOLette took of our day out on Steel Bender and you can be sure that she will be putting together an awesome YouTube video of it soon. But, until that time, you can see all of our pics in the Project-JK Gallery. Simply click on the link below:

We can't make E.J.S. but will spend a week in Moab in mid April. I can hardly wait, I'm so excited. I don't think the Steelbender trail will be on the list of places to go with our stock wheels, I wonder why?
