Awesome pics! That looks like it is probably the most technical wheeling that I have ssen you guys do! Hopefully I will have that much fun when I go to Katemcy Rocks this weekend!

That is a sticking point isn't it. Prices here are way over the top by comparison to the rest of the nation. But, I'm always amazed to see how many people keep on coming anyway

We usually do a run at least twice a month... sometimes more

Thanks - this trail was definitely was one of the harder ones we did as a group but I think 100dollarman and the group he typically goes out with definitely do much harder stuff on a regular basis - JK's rock!!

probably just as bad here in Montgomery County, MD... but i too wish i could quit my job and go west. but i still have 2 stinking years of college left. ugh... wonder how much a "vacation" would cost me to go out there for a few days that happen to coincide with one of these trail runs...

That's funny you called them mountains. When I first moved out here from back east I used to call every hill like that a mountain and everyone would crack up at me!

They are considered the Calico mountains though, the picture is more like the foothills area of the range.

If you have google earth and enter in 34* 57' 18" N and 116* 51' 48" W you can see the satelite picture of the above sign!
