Ran Rubicon Last Weekned
So I went with some friends to run the ever famous Rubicon Trail. The scenery was just breath taking. What a great trail. We went in on Friday and camped at Spider Lake. Got down to the low 30's every night. Saturday morning we went to Rubicon Springs and then back to Spider Lake. It was an all day run on the trail to accomplish this. Wheeled back out Sunday morning.
Jeep did great. I must say I am amazed what this thing can do with only 1 locker in the rear. Never got stuck, never needed a bump, went up and down everything I could find accept for the sluice.

Thanks for sharing. The video was great, sounds like you were with some good people too. Do you have any equipment recomendations for any of us who may like to do the trial some day? I've got a stock Rubicon. What parts would be good to leave at home, and what parts should I plan to replace or beef up? Also, how do you like the Warn bumper? I'm interested in one because they intigrate the stock fog lights, have a deep winch recess and have a tie rod skid plate that bolts to the bumper, eliminating that hunk of plastic that comes from the factory.
Can you keep the factory tow hooks or will they need to be replaced?
