REAL winter wheelin' ;)

SOME JK pix to make it past the censors... Enjoy
Heres my pictures, a few days late.
Here we are at the trail head, 7 jeeps in all, but an 8th (general lee) showed up shortly after.
2 XJ's, 5 TJ's and of course 1 big yellow JK
Rob's valiant attempt at the hill, as seen from the opposing hillside.
The XJ waiting patiently.
Lots of snow on the hill. Need to get a winch going.
The 150+ ft pull. Line extensions in use.
We were well prepared with gear. ;D
TJ in the distance found a ditch.
I guess I didn't need that mirror anyways, lol
Still jammed up against the wall. I was in a crappy spot, and it was quite difficult for rob up ahead to back down the hill and give me a tug. The dowel trick between straps has been used several times now. Very useful.
Beautiful views here. I wish I had though to take more of just the scenery.
Everyone playing in the gravel pit. It took us quite a while to even get here.
Me getting winched up the final big hill through the snowbank by Len. Precarious situation. I had to be unhooked, winch extension removed and rehooked, all at a very steep angle. My brakes were failing at this point, and many pumps were needed to keep me in position.
A very careful drive home, and I was done. LONG day of wheeling, in crappy weather. Good job to all who were out. I apologize for not being much help later on in the run, but I went up to my knees in the brook, hooking up a strap for a pull, and my winter boots were drenched. I only had light sneakers for the rest of the run.
I had a blast, and it was great to get some wheeling in with the NSJC crew. It was long overdue!

Not many miles... took from 11 AM to 5 PM. Is easy stock friendly trail in the summer. Almost everyone was lifted and locked and EVERYONE saw the end of my winch.
