Red Rock Canyon Runs - 03.19.11
Went to Shamrocked this past weekend and had a great time. As Last Chance Canyon Trail was being used for the newbie runs, some of the more experienced drivers went out in search of other trails. We did not find anything difficult, but the scenery was amazing:

Later in the day (2:00 p.m.), I decided to head over and take a run at Last Chance Canyon, but it still was backed up like the 405 during rush hour. I was pleased to find a ridge route trail that paralled LCC, but high up in the hills. I don't know the name of this trail, but it is a right turn .8 miles into the LCC trail, just before entering the wide wash. It was not difficult, but it has several very steep hill climbs in sections where you only have several feet on both sides to drop offs - definitely adrenaline pumping. Here are a few shots of that trail (if you look really closely, you can see JKs lined up on LCC below):

I think you went on ATV/Motorcycle trail
We have done all the 4x4 trails in that area but not this. Toad should be able to confirm
Those do look like the the same kind of trails that can be seen on the hills around camp..moto x and atv ...I was asking if anyone had done them and that was what I was told
...x2 on not seeing the JK's in the pic (even with my glasses on)

The resolution on the photos posted on the forum is not great enough to zoom in and see the JKs.
The trail was not marked as motorcycle/atv and there were other 4x4 tire tracks.
Taher: Yeah, that's funny. When I bumped into you and your group at the end of the long line, is when I turned around and found that other trail. The trail dumped me out back on LCC just before graduation hill and I was able to at least do that last hill climb.
