I live about 7 miles from Allatoona and would like to give it a try also. With life being crammed with kids sports, etc. It would be good to find a place that close to mess around for a few hours.

It is a cool place to lose yourself for a few hours investigating trails and have a picnic lunch

If you ever want to go, I'd be glad to show you around there one day, always looking for an excuse to get away.
